Atlantic Health System seeks a Per Diem Physician Assistant for Surgical Services at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ. This hospital-based role supports multiple surgical subspecialties with OR first assistant duties.

Key Responsibilities

• OR first assistant coverage.
• Manage admissions, consults, rounding, post-op care.
• Perform bedside procedures and discharge patients.
• Work 2-4 shifts per month, 8-12 hours each.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited PA program, NCCPA certified.
• Licensed or eligible in New Jersey.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• 1-3 years surgical experience preferred; new grads considered.
• Comfortable with laparoscopic procedures.

Benefits & Compensation

• Hourly pay $58.56 - $103.06.
