Nurse Practitioner - Walker Heart Institute

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans for patients within the Walker Heart Institute. They are also responsible for prescribing medications, maintaining electronic medical records, and educating patients on health management and preventative care.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical nursing role and national certification are required.
