Per Diem Occupational Therapist - NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital *As Needed Weekends & Holidays, Weekdays As Needed 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM*

Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating patient needs and implementing comprehensive, medically prescribed occupational treatment within a supervised rehabilitation program. Key duties include performing initial assessments, implementing treatment plans with patient/family collaboration, and completing all required clinical documentation for care and reimbursement.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications require a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and a New York State Occupational Therapy License or temporary permit, with the full license required within three months if starting with a permit. Candidates must also possess good communication and interpersonal skills and current BLS or CPR/AED certification.
