About the Role

Join Mayo Clinic as a Occupational Therapist - Supplemental/PRN in United States. The OT will be able to identify patients/customers: Inpatients, Outpatients, Home Health/Hospice patients, Sub-Acute Unit patients (neonates to geriatrics). The OT is responsible for performing an age-specific assessment designed to gather data relevant to the patient's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • assigned to supportive staff (Rehabilitation Techs, LATs, etc.
  • The OT may be asked to create and participate in Community Engagement activities that focus on healthy lifestyle promotion, preventative medicine, and wellness topics.
  • The OT will participate in operational and performance improvement aspects of the department.
  • The OT will maintain awareness of budgetary and fiscal responsibility as it pertains to wages, overtime, productivity, and continuing education.

Requirements

Candidates must have obtained or be eligible for a degree in Occupational Therapy, with a Master's degree preferred, and must hold or be eligible for an Occupational Therapy License in Wisconsin, along with current BLS certification. Required abilities include strong English communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and understanding of Physical Medicine, anatomy, and physiology.
