About the Role

Advanced Practice Provider (30 hours)- Emergency Medicine at Children’s National Hospital in United States. Benefits: health benefits, PTO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced Practice Providers (APP) are Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA), or Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS).
  • Demonstrates clinical leadership skills.
  • Assesses, diagnoses, and monitors clinical status of each patient utilizing evidenced based practice and medical knowledge.
  • Develops appropriate plan of care.
  • Writes patient care orders, prescribes therapy, and provides necessary home care orders as needed.
  • Participates in and/ or leads multidisciplinary patient care.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree Nurse Practitioner
  • Master's or Doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program and eligibility for medical staff credentialing required.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree of Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program and eligibility for medical staff credentialing required.
  • Minimum Work Experience
  • 0 years Minimum of 0 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (Required)
  • Required Skills/Knowledge
