Day Kimball Health is hiring for a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our HomeCare Speech Therapy department! Department: HomeCare / Inpatient (FLOAT) Location: Thompson, CT & Putnam, CT Schedule: Day shift (8:00 a.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats patients as prescribed by referring physician.
- Records treatment, response, progress and discharge information in patient’s chart.
- Educates patient, family and significant others regarding condition, treatment, home program and Rehabilitation Services.
- Routinely confers with physician and other practitioners in person, by phone, or in writing, regarding progress, regression or change of plan.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology required.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech
- Language Pathology required.
- Connecticut license or Connecticut license eligible required.
