  • This is a night shift opportunity for a certified Trauma/Critical Care APP (will consider both NP's and PA's) in Pensacola, Florida, supported by a strong health system network.

566 bed Level I Trauma Center (Part of a robust clinical network with our sister facilities in Destin, Panama City, and Port St. Joe, FL)

Licensure / Certification / Registration

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or National Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner (NP) license required.

Key Responsibilities

The APP will provide inpatient trauma and critical care services within a Level I Trauma Center as part of a collaborative physician-led team. Responsibilities include facilitating quality outcomes, supporting practice growth, and championing the care experience for patients and their families.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing and be credentialed as a Nurse Practitioner by the Florida Board of Nursing. A BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire, and previous experience in trauma, ER, or surgical settings is strongly preferred.
