Key Responsibilities

The Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner provides advanced nursing care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions requiring surgical intervention, working collaboratively with surgeons and other professionals to manage patients pre- and post-operatively. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, coordinating care for complex needs, maintaining detailed patient records, and adhering to safety and infection control procedures.

Requirements

Candidates must complete a master’s, postmaster’s, or doctorate from an accredited nurse practitioner program and hold current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, along with a DEA permit in the state of practice. Experience in orthopedic surgery, trauma, or musculoskeletal care is preferred but not required.
