DESCRIPTION
MUSC Health is seeking board-certified/board-eligible emergency medicine
physicians to join the team at MUSC Health Florence Freestanding Emergency
Department (FSED) in Florence, South Carolina. Opening in November 2026, this
innovative facility reflects MUSC Health's commitment to expanding convenient,
high-quality care across South Carolina. This location will bring together 24/7
EM and urgent care services under one roof, creating a unique practice
environment that improves access to care while delivering an exceptional patient
experience.

* MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Key Responsibilities
The staff physician will provide 24/7 emergency and urgent care services at the new MUSC Health Florence facility. They will collaborate with advanced practice clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care and help establish the facility's clinical workflows.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be board-certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine. Applicants must also be eligible for South Carolina medical licensure and DEA registration.
