Key Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions and treatments
  • The Physician Assistant is responsible for assisting the supervising physician in the medical management of patients assigned to their practice
  • CORE RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborates with attending physician to conduct patient assessments and help develop treatment plans for orthopedic conditions
  • Performs administrative tasks for the assigned practice
  • Performs initial interview and assessment of patient

Requirements

  • CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Certification by the National Commission for Certified Physician’s Assistants (NCCPA) required
  • Registered and licensed by the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners
  • Current DEA number required
