Key Responsibilities
- Conducts all Psychiatric Evaluations and ensures medical necessity for all individuals enrolled in the PHP.
- Provides medication management services for individuals enrolled in PHP as needed.
- Available on-site at least weekly and by telephone in unusual or urgent situations related to medication.
- Provides consultation, education and related information to patients and the families, if involved, to increase success of treatment and program engagement.
Requirements
- Participates in marketing and outreach events on occasion.
- All necessary requirements must be met to practice adult psychiatry in CA.
- Experience with mental health PHP/IOP and/or psychiatric hospital experience desired.
