Key Responsibilities

• Ability to provide a recent Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days of submission)
• Conduct orthopedic consults, patient rounding, and history & physicals (HP)

Requirements

• EMR System: Epic (Epic EMR training required prior to start)
• Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in Colorado
• DEA registration (transferable or willing to obtain for assignment)
• BLS certification (required or willing to obtain before start)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in orthopedics or inpatient hospital settings
• First assist experience/certification highly preferred (not required)

Work Schedule

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (10-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Provide clinical support to the on-call orthopedic surgeon
