Key Responsibilities

The respiratory therapist is responsible for administering safe respiratory care, monitoring mechanical ventilation, and performing airway management for patients. They must also document procedures accurately, collaborate with physicians, and assist in the training of new staff and students.

Requirements

Candidates must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with current state licensure and active ACLS and BLS certifications. A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
