Key Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant will perform patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning within the Observation Unit at Elmhurst Hospital. They are responsible for documenting care in the EPIC system, ordering diagnostic tests, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and be a Licensed Physician Assistant (LPA) in New York State. Current NCCPA certification, as well as BLS and ACLS certifications, are mandatory for this position.
