Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate group and individual sessions for participants, ensuring a safe and supportive environment that encourages open communication and personal reflection.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of participants to identify their needs, motivations, and barriers to change.

• Develop and implement tailored intervention strategies that address the unique circumstances of each participant while adhering to the best practices in domestic violence intervention.

• Monitor participant progress and provide ongoing feedback, support, and accountability throughout the program.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience working with individuals affected by domestic violence, preferably in a facilitative or therapeutic capacity.

• 40-hour domestic violence training.

• Certification or training in domestic violence prevention and intervention, specifically in Partner Abuse Intervention Programs (PAIP) or Batterers Intervention Prevention Program (BIPP) preferred.

• Strong understanding of domestic violence issues, trauma-informed care, and intervention strategies.

Work Schedule

• Contract position.
