The Respiratory Therapist evaluates, treats, and cares for patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions. They collaborate with healthcare professionals to administer therapies, manage respiratory equipment, and respond to emergency situations.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapist program and hold CRT credentials, with RRT credentials required within 12 months. A Wisconsin state license, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain NRP certification within one year are also mandatory.
