Job DetailsJob Location: Tucson, AZ 85710Position Type: PRNEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DaysJob Category: Ancillary / OtherCLINICAL DIETITIAN Vista Specialty Hospital Clinical Dietitian Summary: Responsible for the assessment and planning of the nutritional care of the patients in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, policies and procedures, and in coordination with the Nutrition Services Supervisor/Manager to ensure that qualify food service and nutritional care is provided to the patients.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. Licenses/Certification: Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association or registry eligible.

Membership in the American Dietetic Association strongly preferred License as mandated by the state in which employed if applicable. ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred Experience: Experience in acute clinical care, nutrition support, and disease-specific nutrition preferred. Verifiable internship through a dietetic program. Safety Sensitive-Designated Position

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for assessing and planning nutritional care for patients in accordance with federal and state regulations. Coordinates with the Nutrition Services team to ensure high-quality food service and nutritional support.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition and must be a Registered Dietitian or registry eligible. Experience in acute clinical care and nutrition support is preferred.
