- Experience: 2 years in emergency medicine required
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED
- Manage an average of 38 patients per day with support from NPPA staff
- Work 12-hour day shifts from 6a to 6p
- Supervise and collaborate with NPPA in Fast Track
- Maintain active Louisiana medical license, DEA, and CDS along with required certifications (PALS, ATLS, ACLS)
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED and manage an average of 38 patients per day. Supervise and collaborate with NPPA staff in the Fast Track area.
Requirements
Requires board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine, along with an active Louisiana medical license, DEA, and CDS. Candidates must have at least 2 years of emergency medicine experience and current PALS, ATLS, and ACLS certifications.
