About the Role

Join Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology as a Internal Medicine Patient Care Coordinator – No Weekends in United States. Are you a veterinary technician looking for the next step in your career? Are you looking to move away from the more physically demanding aspects of being a veterinary technician while continuing to grow and support patients and their families?

Key Responsibilities

  • will commonly: Oversee the doctor’s appointment schedule to maximize workflow and number of patients seen, including coordination of procedures such as ultrasounds, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and cystoscopy Collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure seamless patient care and effective client communication Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans created by the veterinarian Review and communicate lab results with the doctor, and when appropriate, the client and referring veterinarian Be the go-to person for clients, ensuring client questions are addressed in a timely, professional, and solution-based manner Support the clinical team through record keeping, tracking test results, and preparing and reviewing estimates Provide outstanding customer service during appointments and phone calls Attend CE courses/webinars or training as requested by the Clinical Educator Regularly attend staff meetings Time Off At AVIM&O we believe in Work - Life Balance and a healthy lifestyle.
