Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist confirms and interprets physician referrals, performs patient assessments, and plans and implements individualized treatment programs based on patient diagnoses and age. This role also involves coordinating patient care, documenting records, and supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and other therapy staff.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy, holding either a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience or a Master's/Doctorate degree, with one year of clinical experience required for Home Health positions. Licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia and AHA BLS certification within six months of employment are mandatory.
