Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing and directing resident rehabilitation care according to accepted practice methods and standards, which includes evaluating resident needs and establishing effective treatment plans. They must also manage and coordinate the supervision of treatment plans with staff and other disciplines, perform necessary clinical documentation, and maintain accurate billing records.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and hold a current, active Occupational Therapist license in the state of operations. Experience or knowledge in older adult rehabilitation and familiarity with governmental and regulatory guidelines in healthcare settings are preferred.
