Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist administers pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents following physician orders, performing assessments and monitoring patient responses to ensure effective respiratory care, disease prevention, and rehabilitation. Essential functions include performing ABG punctures, assisting physicians with bedside procedures, managing ventilator settings, and ensuring accurate documentation of all treatments and patient responses.

Requirements

Candidates should possess 1-3 years of respiratory experience in an acute care setting, preferred, and must hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, and PALS, with NRP and STABLE required if working in the NICU department.
