A Master's degree in a human services-related discipline is required, along with a minimum of one year of related experience in drug/alcohol dependence treatment. Applicants must possess the NYS Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) or (CASAC-T) credential, with CASAC-T holders needing to achieve full CASAC status within 12 months of hire.
