Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Veterinarian provides comprehensive veterinary care, including surgery, anesthesia, and preventative medicine for animals at the Denver Zoo. The role also involves mentoring veterinary students and residents while collaborating with nutrition and conservation programs.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited college and possess at least four years of post-graduate experience. Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Colorado and be able to obtain DEA and USDA category II accreditation.
