Emergency Room Physician

Key Responsibilities

The Emergency Room Physician provides emergency medical care, responds to cardiac or respiratory arrests, and manages patient documentation within the Fort Leonard Wood Medical Treatment Facility. They are also responsible for supervising students, performing medical procedures, and coordinating patient transfers or evacuations as necessary.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a medical degree from an accredited institution and be board certified or eligible in emergency medicine, family practice, or pediatrics with internal medicine. A valid, unrestricted US medical license and current certifications in BLS, ATLS, ALS, NRP, and PALS are required.
