Key Responsibilities

manage client crisis, develop strategies to assist clients to prevent further crisis, provide monitoring an.

provide follow-up brief intervention support to service recipients.

conduct formal mental health and addiction assessment, short term crisis counseling and referral * Ability t.

provide assessment to local ER physicians and physicians in offices when required.

Requirements

Minimum three years experience working with individuals with an Acquired Brain Injury, Intellectual Disability, and/or Developmental Disability

Minimum three years experience in responding to crisis situations with a variety of individuals in the community and hospital setting

Extensive knowledge of the Recovery Principles and Recovery Model DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE(S) & EDUCATION

Knowledge of Narrative Practice in single session therapy preferred
