The Registered Respiratory Therapist will demonstrate proficiency in critical and general care procedures including patient assessment, ventilator management, and various respiratory treatments while organizing and prioritizing tasks for safe equipment operation. This role also involves adhering to BSI policies, enforcing infection control, and communicating treatment information effectively to patients and families.
Candidates must possess a Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners Licensed Respiratory Therapist credential and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certified by the NBRC. Essential certifications include current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
