Minimum Requirements Education - Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology Experience - No experience required. In Lieu Of In lieu of licensure and CCC only, will accept SC Intern Certificate during Clinical Fellowship (i. e. Supervised Professional Employment). Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses SLP Licensure from the Board of SLP Examiners or SLP Compact Commission. Key Responsibilities
The Speech Pathologist plans and implements specific treatment programs, performs initial evaluations, designs comprehensive plans of care, and coordinates intervention with other services. They are also responsible for patient and family education, discharge planning, and maintaining accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulations.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and must obtain SLP Licensure from the Board of SLP Examiners or SLP Compact Commission, along with BLS certification. No prior experience is required, as the role accepts an SC Intern Certificate during the Clinical Fellowship period in lieu of full licensure/CCC.
