Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional procedures including angioplasty, stenting, and coronary diagnostics
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary heart team, including cardiac surgery, imaging, and advanced heart failure
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiac care and consultations
• Maintain thorough documentation and uphold clinical quality standards

Requirements

• Outstanding patient experience ratings and community trust
• A collegial, physician-friendly environment with experienced clinical teams
• (Preferred not required) Participate in structural heart interventions, including TAVR, PFO/ASD closure, TEER, Watchman and other emerging therapies
• MD or DO degree; completion of U. S.-based internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship
• Board Certification in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
• Eligible for unrestricted Louisiana medical license

Work Schedule

• Employment Type: Full-time, hospital-employed
• Participate in STEMI call (1:3 coverage and about 50 per year) and ensure rapid response for emergent cases
