Join Northwell as a Senior Social Worker in United States. Job Description Leads, guides, and coordinates staff, students, and support staff in the performance of duties. Provides social work services to patients and/or their families throughout the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in the formulation and development of departmental and interdepartmental programs, policies and procedures.
- Contributes to the assessment of social health needs in the facility and community; participates in the development of effective health and welfare services/resources.
- Collaborates with other staff members to identify unmet psychosocial needs of patients.
- Participates in appropriate research, staff development programs, and community liaison activities.
