About the Role
Join Unity Health as a Social Worker – PRN in United States. 1. Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university with at least a bachelors degree, and preferably a masters degree in a behavioral science discipline (prefer psychology, counseling, or social work background).
Key Responsibilities
- must possess demonstrated knowledge, training and skills necessary and appropriate to the patient-specific population.
- must be able to set priorities and effectively delegate/coordinate interdisciplinary care based on the needs of the patient, census, staffing and unit needs.
- will provide quality individual and group therapies, as well as oversee case management services to patients on the Behavioral health unit using professional standards, and according to their licensure and or certification.
- will assist in receiving patients, working with families and placement of patients at discharge, as well as coordinating immediate aftercare services.
Requirements
- specific competencies, clinical competencies and organization
- wide competencies such as fire, infection control, emergencies, etc.). Performance will be measured and routinely evaluated with clinical administrative staff as required.
Work Schedule
- Per Diem position.
