About the Role

Join International SOS Government Medical Services as a Physician Assistant – Disaster Response, 12-Hour Shifts in Sarasota, Florida. Company Description International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. delivers customized medical and security risk management and wellbeing solutions to enable our clients to operate safely and effectively in environments far from home.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial health assessments of residents to identify medical needs, manage chronic conditions, and monitor acute health issues.

Provide immediate care, administer medications, perform minor procedures, and collaborate with physicians to ensure appropriate treatment plans are in place.

Work closely with other healthcare professionals, social workers, and shelter staff to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each individual.

Offer guidance to residents on navigating services available within the shelter.
