Key Responsibilities
- Monitor drug therapy regimens checking for interactions, allergies, unapproved abbreviations, and appropriateness of drug and dose, providing consultation and clarification to providers as necessary.
- Assists in directing pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
- Interpretation and accurate entry of medication orders and patient medication profiles.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college of pharmacy License in state of Iowa as a registered pharmacist Continuing education in good standing.

- ) Interpret medication orders (verbal/electronic/written) and transcribe to patient medication profiles accurately.
- ) Dispense medications accurately and timely.
