About the Role

Join Broadlawns Medical Center as a Pharmacist - Inpatient / Outpatient Float in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor drug therapy regimens checking for interactions, allergies, unapproved abbreviations, and appropriateness of drug and dose, providing consultation and clarification to providers as necessary.

Assists in directing pharmacy technicians and support personnel.

Interpretation and accurate entry of medication orders and patient medication profiles.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited college of pharmacy License in state of Iowa as a registered pharmacist Continuing education in good standing.

Performance Standards 1.

) Interpret medication orders (verbal/electronic/written) and transcribe to patient medication profiles accurately.

) Dispense medications accurately and timely.
