Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, and administers prescribed respiratory treatments including ventilation and aerosol therapy. They also perform diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, pulmonary function studies, and arterial punctures while monitoring patient response.
Requirements
Candidates must have at least two years of respiratory therapy experience and a current Arizona RT license. Required certifications include BLS upon hire and ACLS within six months of employment.
