About the Role

Join Vancouver Coastal Health as a Family Practice, Inpatient Care and Emergency Medicine Physician in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • will join a new group of Inpatient Care physicians and participate in an on-call rotation (approximately 1:3), from 5 pm to 10pm only, with 5-7 day work weeks.
  • should have a strong interest in integrating and developing their acute care/inpatient care practice within the Sechelt Hospital team.
  • will lead to the best possible outcomes for patients and their families.
  • provide a combination of Inpatient Care Coverage and ER shift coverage at Sechelt Hospital.

Requirements

  • 8), with an additional 2 “Sick Call” shifts per month providing 24
  • hour availability for coverage of a colleague on short
  • notice, or to attend to major events requiring an additional physician. The intention would be to shift between these roles on a week
  • week basis, with sufficient flexibility to accommodate the needs of both the ER and inpatient care groups, and the successful candidate. This would average >30 hours per week and constitute full
