About the Role

Join Parkland Health as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Internal Medicine in United States. Primary Purpose Provides specialized integrated clinical pharmacy services for an assigned area. Provides leadership in education and practice of evidence based medication use and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • call to respond to patient care medication related questions as the resident expert when needed.
  • Attends, participates, & provides feedback in journal club, in
  • services, resident topic discussions, and resident/student case presentations

Requirements

  • accredited post
  • graduate year one (PGY1) residency training program and post
  • graduate year two (PGY2) residency training program or fellowship Meets Parkland standards of an ASHP
  • Qualified Residency Preceptor within one year of employment. Prior experience working in assigned practice area preferred. Equivalent Education and/or Experience

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.
  • Call responsibilities required.
