About the Role

Join Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services as a SUD Counselor (Addictions Counselor) in United States. Join our mission to help individuals with mental illness and addictions to lead healthy and productive lives. GCBHS has immediate openings for Addictions Counselors / SUD Counselors (LPC/LSW) in Cincinnati and Batavia, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completes Diagnostic Assessments and treatments plans on individuals seeking services for gambling, alcohol or other drugs.
  • Facilitates therapeutic cognitive behaviorally based groups for alcohol and other drug treatment.
  • Conducts individual and family counseling sessions to identify those problems the client has which may interfere with the recovery process and develop appropriate treatment for client.
  • Makes appropriate referrals for further counseling and services to improve client’s quality of life and improve likelihood of recovery.

Requirements

  • Ohio LPC or LSW required.
  • Experience working with individuals with SUD.
  • LCDCII, LCDCIII, LSW, or LPC preferred. Pay differential for LCDCII or above. We have full
