Key Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant provides clinical assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patients within an interdisciplinary orthopedic team. They also perform surgical first-assist duties, document patient care, and provide education and psychosocial support to patients and families.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and hold active state licensure and NCCPA certification. A minimum of one year of operating room first assist experience is required, with a preference for experience in total joint cases.
