About the Role

Join Mater Group as a Occupational Therapist – Advanced Practice, Part-Time in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent OT assessment, review, and management of patients, with option to provide short term intervention and follow up for individuals with IDD and complex medical and psychosocial needs
  • Advanced knowledge and experience to improve the health of individuals with intellectual or developmental disability and autism across the lifespan including adults
  • Thorough knowledge of functional assessment and environmental adjustment to help people with IDD live meaningful, engaged lives
  • Demonstrates advanced OT knowledge and skills related to IDD and associated conditions, including autism and mental illness

Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to be able to travel in Queensland
  • Maintain compliance with the Mater’s Immunisation policy
  • Agree to NDIS work screen process Desirable
  • Post graduate qualification or working towards in relevant field

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: $73.12 - $76.30/hr
