About the Role

Join Equus as a Physician – Hybrid, Youth Program, TX in Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience working with youth and young adults 16 - 24 years old Examine and treat chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries/ illnesses.
  • Perform selected laboratory testing, referrals to physicians, as needed, write prescriptions, and perform procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment.
  • Work in collaboration with the facility’s medical director, attending physicians and other care providers to provide care and treatment services for all patients.
  • Participate in patient assessment and the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of the care plan.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Active, unrestricted license to practice in state where facility is located.
  • Primary care physician preferred – family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine.
  • Current DEA registration.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.
  • Hybrid position - combination of remote and on-site.
