About the Role
Albany Medical Center seeks a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to support hospitalist services. This role involves advanced patient care, including assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning in collaboration with physicians.
Key Responsibilities
You will conduct patient assessments, order and interpret tests, administer medications, perform minor surgeries, and mentor staff. Accurate documentation and coding are essential.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree from an accredited NP program and be licensed upon hire. Certifications in ATLS and BCLS are required. Strong communication skills are essential.
Work Schedule
This is a per diem position with day shifts. Call, weekend, and night shift requirements are not specified.
