About the Role

This full-time Surgical Physician Assistant (PA-C) position is with AdventHealth Medical Group Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery, serving AdventHealth Altamonte and AdventHealth Orlando in Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and treat injuries or illnesses related to Neurotology, Head and Neck Surgery in clinic and hospital.
• 75% hospital rounding, 25% first assist in OR and outpatient clinic.
• Perform scope-related procedures, incision and drainage, suturing.
• Collaborate with head & neck surgeons managing thyroid, parathyroid, parotid conditions, head and neck cancer, swallowing and vocal cord disorders, and general ENT consultations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Monitor patient treatment courses and refer as needed.
• Maintain professional growth and a caring attitude.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Current, valid Florida PA license.
• Certification by NCCPA or equivalent.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Surgical first assist experience preferred.
• ENT experience preferred.
