Key Responsibilities

  • will provide Occupational Therapy services to include: General Medicine/Surgery, Cardiology, Geriatrics, Orthopedics, Stroke, Neurology and Neurosurgery as well as Rehabilitation and Palliative Care inpatients and community This position operates under direct supervision of a Senior Occupational Therapist.
  • will vary according to the incumbent’s clinical experience and the task The Level 1/2 Occupational Therapist is encouraged to participate in workplace education, quality improvement activities and relevant research This position may also assist in development of policies and procedures and supervision of Occupational Therapy students on placement This position may be required to work weekends to help facilitate a seven-day acute service About you You’re a qualified and AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist Provide integrated, patient centred and evidence based Occupational Therapy Service to inpatients and outpatients across St Vincent’s Hospital campus, including picking up new referrals, review of patients and continuation of therapy in relevant clinical area.
