About the Role

Join ArchCare as a Speech Therapist – Hospital/Rehab Setting in United States. Responsibilities * Evaluate & Treat: Conduct initial and periodic assessments for speech, language, and swallowing disorders. * Goal Setting: Develop and adjust measurable treatment plans based on individual patient needs and physician orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate & Treat: Conduct initial and periodic assessments for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Goal Setting: Develop and adjust measurable treatment plans based on individual patient needs and physician orders.
  • Collaborate: Partner with the Rehabilitation Therapist and nursing staff on care transitions and discharge planning.
  • Mentor: Provide clinical guidance to new staff, students, and volunteers.

Requirements

  • Licensure: Current New York State SLP License and registration NYS Office of the Professions.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
  • Education: Master’s Degree in Speech
  • Language Pathology from an accredited program. Physical Requirements

Work Schedule

  • Fixed schedule.
  • No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
