Key Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist provides direct patient care, develops treatment plans, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure functional progress and safety. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record and participating in departmental process improvement.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and possess a valid Speech Pathologist License in the State of Illinois. Additionally, a BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
