Key Responsibilities

• The Occupational Therapist: Evaluates the patient's need for occupational therapy and develops/carries out appropriate treatment plan.

• Instructs family members, COTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.

• Communicates with the physician and other health care providers on a regular basis regarding the patient's progress.

• Provides clinical oversight of COTAs in the home.

Requirements

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in Vermont and New Hampshire or hold a compact license.

• Driver’s license, minimum requirements on car insurance, and a clean driving record.
