About the Role

Join Pulse Healthcare as a Paediatric Special School Speech and Language Therapist in United States. Job Title: Paediatric Special School Speech and Language Therapist – Medway, Kent Banding: Band 6/7 Location: Medway, Kent Start Date: ASAP Salary: £24.00–£45.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 speech and language therapy interventions for students aged 6–21 with a range of communication needs.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored therapy plans to support students’ speech, language, and communication development.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and support teams to ensure therapy strategies are embedded within the classroom environment.
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical guidance to two Band 5 Speech and Language Therapists.

Requirements

  • A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
  • Current HCPC registration and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Experience working with children and young people with speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Experience or confidence in providing supervision or guidance to junior therapists (desirable for Band 7 level).
