Key Responsibilities

The physician is responsible for managing patient symptoms, conducting face-to-face assessments, and overseeing care plans within a multidisciplinary hospice team. They also provide clinical guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain communication with families and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a medical degree (MD or DO) and a current, unencumbered state medical license. Board certification in hospice and palliative medicine is preferred, along with active hospital staff membership and CPR certification.
