Key Responsibilities

Serve as a leader, educator, and researcher for patients, their families, and the community
Perform, order, and interpret appropriate laboratory test; notifies patients of results as needed
Arrange for or refer patients to needed services that cannot be provided at the clinic
Participate in the development, execution and annual review of the written policies governing the services the clinic furnishes as appropriate
Perform other duties as needed and appropriate to the scope of practice

Requirements

Master's Degree MSN-Nurse Practitioner. Required
1 year of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience as nurse practitioner Preferred
LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire Required, or
Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies Required
1 year of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience as physician assistant Preferred

Assess information and/or symptoms of patient by phone or other technology in order to prescribe treatment or refer to appropriate resources.
Consult and instruct patients in order to provide support, facilitate recovery and foster patient self-care at home, promotes health through continued follow-up care.
