About the Role

Sentara Health seeks an Epic Scheduling Optimization Specialist to remotely manage and optimize scheduling tools within the Epic platform. This role supports provider and departmental scheduling across ambulatory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Epic scheduling templates and decision trees
• Troubleshoot scheduling configurations
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders
• Analyze scheduling data and recommend improvements
• Lead provider onboarding/offboarding projects
• Deliver training and create documentation
• Partner with IS and Epic teams for system changes

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Epic Cadence Certification (within 1 year of hire)
• 3 years experience with Epic scheduling templates and decision trees
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills
